Howdy!
We are already beginning preparations for the 2007 Healdsburg Guitar Festival. An online application will be posted in about a month. If you are interested in exhibiting, please email me at:
info@festivalofguitars.com
Please include your contact name, company name, address, phone, email and website.
We will email you as soon as the application is ready. After you receive the email, we urge you to apply as soon as possible. Payment will not be due for several months thereafter.
I know you probably have a lot of questions, but nothing is 100% firm except the dates (August 17, 18, 19)and the location (the same, though we plan on using it differently!). We will answer any and all questions as the answers become known to us!
If you are interested in teaching a players workshop, or have someone you would like to recommend, please let me know!
Finally, if you would like to request performers for the festival, let me know who's hot and we will look into booking him/her.
Thanks in advance,
Chris Herrod

Thanks everyone!
Bob J- She would be a great act to book!
Bob J again -The festival is centered around an exhibit/sale of handmade instrumetns and includes concerts, players workshops, lutherie seminars and good times a plenty!
Howard -Yep! We have been busy with our new, expanded catalog and the Kit Wizard and hope to update the Festival website soon. Of course, it would be best to wait until we have some artists booked etc. before we re-do it. Then we will use photos from the 2005 fest -so we will always be 2 years "behind"!

No more artist suggestions?? I am sure you guys have some more ideas!

Another vote for David Wilcox, Tommy Emmanuel, Leo Kottke, and Laurence Juber too! I'm a big fan of Wilcox, and play just about everything he has put out. Great alternate tunings, and fun to play!

Don Alder

Joe Thibodeau

Doug Young

I'm not sure of their major performance capabilities - but I had made notes from their mini-concerts.

All the evening performers were great in '05....What about Todd Hallawell again? Great sense of humor with his performance! Jeanne38960.8145023148

Jimi is NOT a sell-out. He didn't use his music in comercials until after he died....oh, did you mean the show would be a sell-out? Silly me.
Though it would be pretty cool to see him at the HGF.
I vote for Tommy, Phil, Mureal, Cassandra Wilson and of course Brian Setzer. Pwoolson38960.7597569444
